Rugby Tournament
On Friday, 10 Year 5 children went to Stourbridge Rugby club to compete in a Year 5 & 6 tag rugby tournament. The children played 6 games over the course of the tournament and worked hard in every game to earn a couple of positive results.
Unfortunately, this wasn't enough to progress to the latter stages of the competition, however I was impressed with all of the children, particularly as they were playing against mainly Year 6 children!
They worked well as a team, encouraging and supporting each other and improving with every game that they played. A special mention to Ben who was our try scorer extraordinaire and who scored in excess of 10 tries over the 6 games that we played.
