Dear parents and carers,
We are excited to have organised for the whole of our school to go on another theatre trip to see ‘The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe' the musical at the Birmingham Repertory theatre. The date for this trip is Thursday 30th November. The children will travel by coach to and from the Rep theatre in Birmingham.
Drop off needs to be by 8.35am (doors will be open from 8:30am), in order for us to arrive at the theatre in plenty of time for the show. Collection from school will be as normal. Children will need to wear their Maidensbridge school uniform and bring a drink and a substantial snack to the theatre for the interval. No sweets or popcorn please.
As we will be returning back to school for a slightly later lunch, there will be no hot dinners available. Therefore, please send your child in with a packed lunch or if they are in KS1 or receipt of free school meals you will have the option to pre-order your child a grab bag (a form has been sent for this).
Maidensbridge and our HSA have kindly contributed £1300.00 towards the cost of transport and the theatre admission. To help towards covering the remaining trip costs, a voluntary contribution of £23.00 per child is required, which will be split into two instalments.
**Please note, we rely on voluntary contributions to fund this trip. If insufficient contributions are received the trip will not be able to go ahead**.
The instalment payment dates, which can be made via SchoolMoney, are as follows:
£10.00 Monday 16th October
£13.00 Monday 13th November
You are able to make a full payment, if you prefer this to the two instalments.
Please make your first payment by Monday 16th October to confirm your child will be attending and to enable us to finalise numbers.
If you have any questions, please call the school office.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs. G Morgan
Deputy Headteacher
